AFROBANA 2012!! Sands of Time: The Evolution of Culture.
The deadline for submitting acts has been extended to Wednesday 31st October!! So before you pull out your Halloween get-up, remember to hand in your Afrobana forms! The second audition is on Saturday 3rd November at wenjack theatre. Join the amazing cast; EVERYONE is welcome. It will be a highlight of your 2012-2013 year followed by the AFTERPARTY of the century (which performers and volunteers enter free of charge). Email tacsugroup@gmail.com for more information. AFROBANA is the biggest cultural show of the semester, held annually in November! The show gives Trent students the opportunity to share African and Caribbean culture through song, dance, drama and other means of creative expression. This year, Afrobana will be held on November 17th in the Wenjack theatre.
The first audition will take place this Saturday, October 13th in the Wenjack Theatre. If you have an act that you wish to perform in the show, please e-mail tacsugroup@gmail.com for the application form and submit is by Friday, October 12th at 12pm.
If you cannot make it to the auditions, fill in the form and either :
1. provide a video of the act or
2. send a representative to the audition to provide a general description of the piece and how it has progressed to date.
